Team Secret Weapon: Tournament Time!

posted by Sirus

Pre-tournament insanity! I've been working on my army to the exclusion of all else, getting it ready for the Bay Area Open this weekend. It's driving me a little crazy (more than usual), and I loathe working on a deadline but that's why we make the big bucks here at Team Secret Weapon. (We do make big bucks, right?)

This is the army, displayed in all its glory. I'll be taking part in the 40K Championships, which is just a fancy way of saying its a Singles tournament. I've been making extensive use of the Secret Weapon weathering techniques, along with little details like Brass Etch Roman Numerals and Super Secret Objective Markers.

We'll see how things go. I still have some work to do so unfortunately I won't be 100% for the tournament, but with the salt chipping technique, weathering powder on tank tracks, and a few other tricks I picked up off the Secret Weapon blog I'm much more pleased with how the army is turning out. Pics + videos from the tournament coming soon!
