Time to Roll!

posted by Mathieu Fontaine
Well it is now January, actually half of January has passed by, and it is now to get back in shape. At least paint wise. Most of the month has been spent in rearranging my apartment and workspace but a lot of planning as also been done on a project I intend to present at GD Chicago.

I haven't picked up my brushes yet but the order of priorities has been set and it should be any days now.

#1 Finish this elfish warrior on horse

Crappy picture indeed but I have to tease you a bit. More pics as the work progress on my site.

#2 Give some love to this wonderful rhino!

Some of you might recognize the influence. In fact it looks a lot like Kifaro from Studio McVey. It is in fact from the same sculptor, Allan Carrasco. It will be painted for Crystal Brush at Adepticon, which also reminds me that I have to paint the ship for Dreadfleet for the Celebrity Dreadfleet project.

#3 Project for GD Chicago involving a lot of dead people.

I'll really be a tease on this one for the moment. I promise you will see all the wip shots as it progresses though. Let just say that I intent to rectify a certain lack in my cabinet.

On the Masterclasses front there are a few places available still for the Vancouver Masterclass I at the end of February and the Masterclass II of March. There are talks for a return in Sacramento as well, likely at the end of March. More details to come.

There are also talks for Masterclasses in Nashville, New Jersey area, Boston and the Netherlands. Yes you read correctly. There should be a Masterclass I in Utrecht, Netherlands, on the first weekend of November. Still far away but I'm personally excited to head to the Netherlands.

If you have any questions or requests regarding the Masterclasses do not hesitate to send me an email: akaranseth@gmail.com

So this will conclude this post for the month. Time to get back to work.
