After Beasts of War broke the news I realized there was no reason not to post one of the high resolution renders of the 6x6 Rapid Assault Vehicle we're working on. If you click through you'll get a good look at the detail although we are still making some changes. The image is hefty and large enough to be suitable for desktop wallpaper.
As soon as the current round of changes are complete we'll have the prints run and into production as quickly as we can. Believe me, I want to paint one too!
Wow that looks fantastic! Looking forward to seeing this complete
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Wonderful model! I'll be getting 3-4 at least!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking vehicle!
ReplyDeleteHave you decided on a scale?
Happy Gaming,
Allan
Any chance of making these for 15mm Gaming?
ReplyDelete28mm please. As soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent vehicle.
Thanks for the responses everyone!
ReplyDeleteFirst - no clue on when these will hit the site. Changes are being made to the design to add a bit more detail.
The model will be released first in 28mm scale. Assuming sales on that size are good - and we fully expect them to be - I'll have a 15mm version available shortly after that.
Thanks again :)
I agree with Navarro... you'd easily make your money back if you release this 6x6 (and the 4x4 from the same artist) in 15mm scale.
ReplyDeleteChris K.
I really hope to. Mike is an incredible artist and I'd love to see a large selection of his models made available.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Might want to change the tread on the tires, looks very much like a SM Bike tire.
ReplyDeleteIn 15mm, I may as well just direct deposit my paycheck into your account. Please consider releasing both scales at the same time.
ReplyDelete@The Mad Robot: The tires are based directly on modern military design.
ReplyDelete@parrot1500: Unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to do both at the same time as it will take a considerable amount of work to redesign the model for 15mm scale.
Thanks again for the compliments and the comments -- I promise we're working on this as fast as we can.
!5mm in future? Praise Cthulhu! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful design, man! Looking forward to owning this :)
ReplyDeleteDoes this have a rear troop hatch? What are it's approximate dimensions in 28mm scale?
ReplyDeleteAh yeah.... that's wonderful! I'll be using this as a basis as a chassis for a Hydra conversion I have planned.
ReplyDelete~ Pax ~
This will be great when the 15mm version is out.
ReplyDeleteBack from holiday with replies!
ReplyDeleteNo rear troop hatch - this is an AFV and not an APC. You'll know the APC when we preview it because it will actually be large enough hold 10 troops :)
Count on the 15mm version - but the 28 will hit first.
Thanks for the comments!
I'd also like a 15mm version!
