User Gallery: Trench Works

I've been lucky enough to receive a few photos for the user gallery and wanted to start posting them here while I get the section ready for the retail site.

This very excellent squad of Ultramarines Terminators was painted by UK commission painter Winterdyne - he has a thread on the RelicNews Forums talking about the techniques - and is based on the Trench Works 40mm Round Bases.

I really enjoy seeing what other folks are doing with Secret Weapon products. If you'd like to have your project added to the gallery, and here on the blog of course, drop an email with photos to misterjustin at secret weapon miniatures dot com.

I have a couple of other submissions I need to run through Photoshop - so check back for more user images.

Product Update: Infected Village 20mm Square Bases

The sculpting is finished and the masters are making the long trek from the UK to the Secret Weapon HQ here in the USA. I hope to have these molded and ready to go in January - assuming the holiday post cooperates with us.

In addition to the incredible detail these bases were also sculpted so that they can be rotated and create a cohesive 4x5 design. This will allow those of you with 20 model units in movement trays to have a solid, unified look to your bases and your army.

The 25mm "Infected Village" bases are working their way into the queue - right behind the first infantry conversion offering!

Stay tuned for more product updates.

And who knows, maybe I'll do a giveaway for a set of these once the masters arrive....

Product Update: 60mm Lava Flow

I have finally (FINALLY!) added the 60mm "Lava Flow" base to the site. This is available for immediate purchase and is selling for $5 each. This completes the core set of "Lava Flow" bases.

I have tested this base with an assault bike, two walkers and a couple of heavy weapon models - all of which fit wonderfully.

On my list of projects is painting a set of these as an alien landscape instead of lava - there's nothing to say they can't be purple and yellow instead of traditional lava colours....
